KingZu (Lanzhou) Fine Chemical Co., Ltd. is a special extractant production base and new product R&D center of Tianjin KingZu Technology Co., Ltd. It is a scientific and technological enterprise specializing in the research and development, production and sales of mining extraction agents.

The company's main product is 272 extractant, and it is the first enterprise in China to mass-produce 272 extractant. The company also produces and sells Kzu118 extractant (for nickel-cobalt-manganese co-extraction), Kzu936 extractant (for lithium enrichment and separation), Kzu923 extractant (for scandium enrichment and separation), etc.

Relying on the scientific research strength of the School of Chemistry of Beijing Normal University, the company cooperates with large domestic hydrometallurgical enterprises and is committed to the development of environmentally friendly and efficient extraction agents and the design of extraction process. The company has 2 invention patents and more than 10 applicable new patents, and is a scientific and technological innovation enterprise in Gansu Province.

The company has leased a dedicated factory building in Zone C of the Specialized, Innovative and New Technology Park, No. 14, with a total investment of 25 million yuan. The main project is to build a production line for 2,000 tons of new energy extraction agents annually.

So far, the company has completed an investment of 25 million yuan and has built four production lines for 272 extraction agents, one lithium magnesium extraction agent production line and one scandium extraction agent production line,which officially started operation in July 2023. The annual output of 272 extraction agents is over 1,000 tons, with an industrial output value of approximately 100 million yuan. The company submitted the application materials for inclusion in the database in October 2023 and achieved an output value of 44.1695 million yuan in 2023.

The company's main product, 272 extraction agent, is mainly used for the enrichment and purification of materials such as nickel sulfate, cobalt sulfate, manganese sulfate, and lithium carbonate in the positive electrode materials of power batteries, and is also applied in the front-end impurity removal process of the electrolytic nickel production line. In recent years, it has been widely used in the recycling and resource regeneration of spent lithium batteries.

The company's main customer groups are large domestic and foreign factories and mines related to power batteries, such as smelting, recycling, and resource regeneration. Representative customers include Jinchuan Group, POSCO of South Korea, Qingshan Group, Jien Nickel Industry, Zhongwei Group, Lique Group, Huayou Cobalt, Xiamen Tungsten, and Tengyuan Cobalt.
