The active ingredient of Kzu272 extractant is organic phosphonic acid, which combines and separates with metal ions through cation exchange mechanism. Kzu272 extractant can not only selectively extract impurity ions such as cobalt and magnesium from solutions containing high nickel, but also achieve enrichment and separation of other metal ions by controlling the pH value of the feed solution.
